Terms of Service

1. These terms

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Birrdii Golf Incorporated (“Birrdii”, “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the birrdii platform, including the website and the app.

By creating an account, or by using birrdii without an account, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the platform.

The governing law and jurisdiction for this agreement are listed for legal confirmation.

2. Who can use birrdii

• You must be old enough to enter into a binding contract where you live.
• Creator and business applicants must be 18 or older, and confirm this as part of the application, which is reviewed against the identification documents provided.
• You must give accurate information, and keep it up to date.
• If you use birrdii on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to act for that business.

3. Your account

• One account per person. Accounts are personal and may not be sold or transferred.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure, including any Google or Apple account you use to sign in to birrdii.
• You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, misrepresents who is behind it, or creates a risk for other users.
• You can ask for your account to be deleted: a creator or business account files the request from its own settings in the app, and any other account asks through Help & Support in the app.

4. What birrdii is

birrdii is a marketplace and publishing platform for professional golf services. Golfers discover caddies, coaches and golf businesses. Creators publish profiles, content, prices and availability. Businesses publish their profile, services, and the booking tool they use.

When you book, the agreement for the round or the coaching session is between you and the creator or business you chose. They set their own prices, availability, travel rules and cancellation terms.

birrdii provides the platform: discovery, profiles and content, conversations, the booking records and reminders, the payment records once payments are connected, and the verification, reporting and moderation processes described in these terms. birrdii does not itself provide caddie, coaching or golf-course services, and is not a party to the agreement between a golfer and a creator or business.

5. Professional golf services only

• Content, requests and messages on birrdii must relate to professional golf services.
• Content must not be explicit, illegal, harassing, hateful, discriminatory or unrelated to golf.
• Requests for services outside what a profile describes, pressure to move a conversation off the platform, or attempts to avoid the platform's rules are not allowed.
• Do not impersonate anyone, misrepresent your experience or qualifications, or use another person's photographs or documents as your own.
• Do not scrape, resell, or automate access to the platform, and do not attempt to bypass verification, payment or access controls.

The content policy and safety policy published in the app form part of these terms.

6. Creator terms

• Provide accurate information about your experience, skills, certifications, prices, durations and service area, and keep your availability current.
• Deliver the services you accept, professionally and on time, and honour the cancellation rules you have set.
• Accept birrdii's platform fee on bookings, subscriptions and paid content, as shown when the booking is made or the offer is created.
• Payouts are issued according to birrdii's payout schedule once payment processing is connected and the payout details are verified.
• Creator Studio, subscriptions, paid content and boosts are available to approved creators, and access may be limited or removed if verification or conduct requirements are not met.
• You are responsible for the tax treatment of what you earn through birrdii.

The published platform fee rate, payout schedule and payout timing are listed for owner confirmation.

7. Business terms

• An application must be submitted by someone authorised to represent the business, must be accurate, and must use images and information the business has the right to use.
• birrdii reviews businesses before they appear publicly, including the location and the representative, and may decline an application or suspend a business later if it no longer meets these standards.
• Applying does not publish a profile, create a subscription or start any billing.
• Booking tools shown on a business profile are tools the business chooses to link to. They are not live integrations with birrdii unless a connection has been reviewed and marked as connected by birrdii.
• Team member invitations are controlled by the business, and the business is responsible for what its members publish and send.

8. Golfer terms

• Provide accurate booking details, including the course, date and time, the number of golfers, and anything the creator needs to know.
• Respect the creator's or business's booking, cancellation and travel rules, including any minimum notice, deposit or travel requirements they have set.
• Pay the amounts shown for the bookings, subscriptions, tips and paid content you choose, once payment processing is live.
• Treat creators, business staff and other users with respect, and keep requests within professional golf services.

9. Bookings, changes and cancellations

• A booking request creates a hold that expires if the request is not completed in time.
• Availability, conflicts, minimum notice, daily limits and the response deadline are checked by birrdii's servers, not by the page you are looking at.
• A creator or business may accept or decline a request, and may quote travel separately where they allow travel bookings.
• Cancellation outcomes, deposits and any refunds follow the terms the creator or business set, together with birrdii's payment terms once payments are live.
• Bookings, reminders and completion records stay available in your account, and a receipt is kept for each completed payment once payments are connected.

10. Payments, fees, tips and payouts

Card payments and payouts are not live today. No payment provider is connected to birrdii and no payment credentials are configured, so no card is charged and no payout is issued.

Subscriptions, tips and paid content can be set up and unlocked in the product according to the rules shown, and are recorded as transactions while payment processing is in preparation.

When payments are enabled, they will be processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Card details are entered with the provider: birrdii stores only a payment method reference, the card brand and the last four digits, never a full card number.

Fees, taxes and the amount due are shown before you confirm a payment.

The fee schedule, tax handling and refund policy are listed for owner and legal confirmation.

11. Subscriptions and paid content

• A subscription unlocks the subscriber benefits and messaging the creator has set, for the period shown.
• No card is charged for a subscription, a tip or paid content today. Until payment processing is live these are set up and recorded in the product without any money changing hands, and nothing renews automatically.
• Once payment processing is live, a subscription renews until it is cancelled, and cancelling stops the next renewal. Access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
• Paid content is unlocked for your own use. It is licensed to you, not sold, and may not be copied, re-uploaded, redistributed or shared.
• Creators set subscription prices and benefits, and birrdii may remove content that breaks these terms.

Renewal, cancellation and refund outcomes for a subscription are described as they will behave once payment processing is connected. None of them take effect today.

12. Feature availability: live and in preparation

We describe the platform as it is, rather than as it might be.

Live today:

• Accounts and sign-in: email with a verification code, and Google.
• Golfer, creator and business profiles.
• Creator and business applications, with identity, age, location and representative review.
• Reels and content, with likes, saves, comments and follows.
• Discovery, search and filters.
• Messaging between golfers, creators and businesses, under the rules each party sets.
• Booking requests, availability checks, response deadlines, reminders and cancellation records.
• Reviews after completed bookings.
• Subscriptions, tips and paid content as configured by creators.
• Partnership conversations, offers and campaign workspaces for approved businesses.
• Reporting, blocking, moderation and support requests.

In preparation, and not live today: card payments and payouts; money movement for subscriptions, tips and paid content; live tee-time or booking-system integrations with third-party providers; email notifications to members, which are delivered inside the app instead today; Apple sign-in, which is enabled on the platform but did not complete when it was tested on a device; and any screen in the app that is labelled as coming soon or shown as a placeholder.

The application platform sends its own account emails on birrdii's behalf, such as a password reset or an invitation to birrdii's administration team.

13. Content, ownership and licences

• You keep ownership of the content you post.
• You grant birrdii a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, format and distribute that content on and through the platform, for as long as your account holds it and for a reasonable period afterwards for backups, records and legal reasons.
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including any photograph of another person.
• birrdii's name, logo, design, software and platform data remain ours.
• We may remove content that breaks these terms, these policies, or the law.

14. Safety, reporting and moderation

• You can report content, a conversation or a user from inside the app, and you can block a user or end a conversation.
• Reports are reviewed by birrdii, and we may remove content, limit features, suspend or close an account, or remove a profile.
• Where the law requires it, we cooperate with law enforcement and regulators.
• The safety policy published in the app forms part of these terms.

15. Third-party links and external services

• Profiles and businesses may link to services outside birrdii, such as social pages or a booking tool.
• birrdii shows a warning before you leave to an external link, and is not responsible for the content, terms or privacy practices of those services.
• Some external links are blocked by birrdii's safety rules.

16. Availability and changes to the platform

We aim to keep birrdii available, but we may change, pause or withdraw features, and we may interrupt the service for maintenance or security reasons.

Features described as in preparation may change before they launch, and may never launch.

17. Disclaimers and limits

The platform is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not guarantee that a particular creator, business or golfer will be available, that a booking request will be accepted, or that a session will meet your expectations.

Verification confirms the specific facts described above, such as age, identity documents, location and representative authority for a business. It is not a guarantee of any outcome, and it is not an endorsement of any person.

birrdii is not a party to the agreement between a golfer and a creator or business.

The limitation of liability and warranty wording must be drafted and approved by qualified legal counsel for the jurisdiction birrdii operates in.

18. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we update the version and the date at the top of this page. Where a change is material, we tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use birrdii after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

You can also use the in-app support form in Help & Support and choose the category that fits. Requests raised there are recorded and reviewed by birrdii, and answered at the contact details on the account that raised them.
